CAROLINE WALSH, former OPERATIONS MANAGER, 1776
This is how we leveraged advice from our members to make 1776 the best place to work.
1776 members know what it takes to create the best experience entrepreneurs need to start a revolution. Their mission is to change the world. 1776 asked for advice on how the space can help them do that.
1776 members were asked to text their advice, write it on a white board, or put their answers directly onto the website. Invitations were also posted on the incubator's Facebook page and updates were sent via newsletters.
On the website, participants could highlight key points in their answers and connect them to insights. Insights partners helped to curate new insights, which were approved by the incubator.
Users were asked to highlight answers, connect them to insights, and suggest new insights. They did most of the analysis!
Insights partners grouped highlights together and suggested new insights, while
taking full responsibility to approve answers and observe the community standards.
1776 team was presented with the insights. They read some of the advice and refined the insights before approval.
