RON HULDAY, MAYOR OF TEL-AVIV
This is how we designed a strategy for MAZE9 - the home for the young residents of Tel Aviv
Young residents know how the new center can engage them. The City decided to design its strategic plan by getting advice directly from young residents and making them part of the change.
The City reached out to dozens of thousands of young residents through street campaigns, Facebook posts, emails, and direct interactions (e.g., in bars and coffee shops around town).
Participants were invited to highlight key points in their answers and connect them to insights on the website. New insights were created by the City leadership after grouping highlights together.
Users were asked to highlight key points in their answers and connect them to existing insights, so they did most of the analysis!
Insights partners curated new insights, while taking full responsibility for approving answers and observing the city standards..
The city executives were presented with the insights. They read some of the advice and refined the insights before approval.
