Thousands of stakeholders were invited to help the government rethink its approach:

Ethiopian Immigrants

Second Generation

Government Officials

Local Authorities

Nonprofits

Experts & Academia

Advice was collected through digital and non-digital platforms

Conferences
Personalized Emails
Facebook Posts
Round Tables
Personalized Texts

The insights surprised the government, and shifted policies

"Stop Segregative Programs. Self-stigmatization will remain for a long time after the program ends..."

“Strenghtening the Parents. Parents should not be afraid to exercise their authority...”

“One Size Doesn’t Fit All. Inclusion requires solutions based on needs, not on color...”

In several cabinet resolutions, the government changed its entire policy. Each participant was informed of his/her personal impact.
