Dion Esterman

Engagement Manager

Dion holds a B.E. in Materials Engineering (Honours) and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from Monash University in Australia. During his studies, he volunteered with Bnei Akiva, one of the largest Zionist youth movements in Australia, and took on several leadership positions with the movement, including National President. He also developed and ran a gap year sports leadership program in Israel for Maccabi Australia and was the Youth Director of Caulfield Hebrew Congregation, one of Melbourne’s largest Synagogues.

For the last two years, he has worked in Canberra for the Australian Department of Health in the Biomaterials and Engineering Section of the Therapeutic Goods Administration as an Engineer regulating medical devices on the Australian market. While in Canberra, he was the founding President of the Australian Capital Territory Zionist Council and an active member of the community.

Dion has been actively playing sport for many years, and loves to travel and read. He made Aliyah in 2018 and looks forward to continuing contributing to his community and country.
