Yarden graduated with honors a B.A in Political Science and History of the Middle East at Tel Aviv University, and is currently an M.A student of European Union Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.During her studies, Yarden participated in the "Monitor" Program - a program at the Citizen’s Empowerment Center (NGO), which follows and monitors the implementation of decisions made by the Israeli government. Yarden believes that only by increasing the public's trust in decision-making mechanisms, can real change take place.
