Dr. Avi Ketko is a public sector professional with experience in planning, leading strategic projects and formulating long and short-term work plans based on results and outcomes. He was the director of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality planning bureau and Municipal Corporations until recently (February 2022). Avi also held the position of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality C.I.O for seven years (2004-2011). He has a PhD (with honours) in which he introduced an integrative collaboration model, based on synergetic benefits, that he was also successful in incorporating into his work at the municipality. Avi has demonstrated leadership in leading and promoting large-scale and significant financial scope projects, and has the experience and skills to integrate results-first work plans for the units he managed, and to play a pivotal role in structural reforms, that required complex negotiations, decoupling of the state’s ownership and building a vision for joint Municipal Corporations unit.
